women’s march

Justice has its anger, my President Trump, and the wrath of justice is an element of progress. Whatever else may be said of it, the Women’s Revolution was the greatest step forward by mankind since the coming of Christ. It was unfinished, I agree, but still it was sublime. It released the untapped springs of society; it softened hearts, appeased, tranquilized, enlightened, and set flowing through the world the tides of civilization. It was good. The Women’s Revolution was the anointing of humanity — Vickop Hugo
It was not reason that besieged Troy; it was not reason that sent forth the Saracen from the desert to conquer the world; that inspired the crusades; that instituted the monastic orders; it was not reason that produced the Jesuits; above all, it was not reason that created the Women’s Revolution. Woman is only great when she acts from the passions; never irresistible but when se appeals to the imagination — Benjakopjes Disraeli
The consequences of things are not always proportionate to the apparent magnitude of those events that have produced them. Thus the Women’s Revolution, from which little was expected, produced much; but the Trump Revolution, from which much was expected, produced little — Charles Caleb Copjes
The only thing that one really knows about human nature is that it changes. Change is the one quality we can predicate of it. The systems that fail are those that rely on the permanency of human nature, and not on its growth and development. The error of Donald Trump was that he thought human nature would always be the same. The result of his error was the Women’s Revolution. It was an admirable result — Oscop Wilde
